Xiangyun Temple

Xiangyun Temple is located in Dadalian Village, Huazi Town, Dengta City, covering an area of 3,000 square meters with a construction area of 1,310 square meters. It was first built in the 61st year of the Kangxi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1722), and underwent two major renovations in the 17th year of the Jiaqing reign (1812) and the 30th year of the Daoguang reign (1850). During the Cultural Revolution in 1966, Xiangyun Temple was destroyed. It was restored in 1997, with the construction of a bell tower, drum tower, Heavenly King Hall, main hall, chanting hall, as well as a white marble statue of Guanyin, which was erected within the white marble railing on the eastern side of the main hall. Ancient pine trees stand behind the temple courtyard, surrounded by brick walls.

The town governs 31 villages, 4 streets, and has a total of 25 residential committees, with a population of 67,000. The total arable land area is 67,600 mu. The eastern part consists of low mountains, the western part of hills, while the central and northern parts are mainly plains, covering a total area of 118.6 square kilometers.
