The Yan-Qin Great Wall

The Yan-Qin Great Wall is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Yan-Qin Great Wall is located in the Nulu'erhu Mountain area in the northern part of Jianping County, Chaoyang, Liaoning Province. Having withstood over 2,300 years of weathering and erosion, a section of the wall between Nanshan in Zhangjiawan Township and Beigouliang in Jianping County still remains. This surviving segment stretches approximately 7 kilometers in length, with an average width of about 2 meters and a height of around 1 meter. Among these ruins, the best-preserved section can be found on the northern mountain of Huajiangou Village in Shaoguo Yingzi Township, where the stone construction is still clearly visible. In addition, many ancient auxiliary structures used for stationing troops and storing grain have also been discovered in this area.
