The Qinglong River Source Wetland Nature Reserve spans the Qinglong River basin throughout Dahebei Township. As the core area of the Lingyuan Qinglong River Provincial Nature Reserve, the headwaters of the Qinglong River are currently undergoing the application process to be upgraded to a national-level nature reserve. The Qinglong River, recorded in "Records of the Grand Historian" as "Xuan Shui" (Dark Water) or "the water of Xuan Qiu," was the bathing site of Jiandi, the matriarch of the Shang Dynasty. Currently, the Qinglong River basin enjoys abundant water flow, and Dahebei Township is developing a wetland park along the river. The scenic beauty on both banks of the Qinglong River is captivating and picturesque, making it a rare and significant tourist attraction in western Liaoning.

Dahebei Town: Located in the southwestern part of Lingyuan City, Dahebei Township sits at the junction of two provinces (Liaoning and Hebei) and three counties/cities (Lingyuan, Pingquan, and Kuancheng). It governs 12 village committees: Nanliuzhangzi, Yangshugoumen, Miaobei, Xiguo Zhangzi, Yushugou, Dahebei, Huangtuliangzi, Shidonggou, Wei Zhangzi, Song Zhangzi, Wafang, and Xihe Zhangzi.
