August 7th,“North Latitude 42°” Dream Highway RV Experience Camp No. 202The pioneering members passed through Huludao in Liaoning and arrived at their second-day destination, Liaoyuan City⑷ Luhu Lake.
Compared to the bold and passionate beach scenery of Huludao, the landscape of ⑷ Luhu Lake is delicate and refreshing, with ponds and fields of flowers. Being there, time seems to freeze at that moment. Everyone slows down a little, and then a little more, breathing in the freshest air and fully experiencing the moist, expansive touch that nature offers.
The journey was a bit long, but it was worth every extra mile for such breathtaking scenery. By 5 p.m., the convoy finally arrived at the ⑷ Luhu Lake camping site. ⑷ Luhu Lake Camping Site is located within the ⑷ Luhu Lake Scenic Area. As a 4A-level scenic spot, there are many attractions to explore within the camp. As the first group of RV travelers welcomed by the camp, the local government and the camp staff paid high attention. Not only did media come to cover the event, but city officials also personally came to welcome guests from all over the country. At dinner time, the camp prepared delicious and hearty authentic Northeastern Chinese cuisine for the travelers.
Looking back at the two-day journey, the first day was spent “pitching tents” at the camping site generously provided by Huludao’s New Ao Ocean Plaza, and the second day was spent “setting up camp” at the ⑷ Luhu Lake camping site. Although the accommodation conditions were a bit more modest compared to luxury hotels, falling asleep to the sound of sea breeze and waking up to the chirping of seagulls offered an experience of being completely immersed in nature and unified with the universe — a journey that busy, fast-paced, routine-driven urban dwellers should experience. It’s the most beautiful kind of trip.
This event was organized by Saber Tiger Outdoor and co-organized by Wotu RV Travel, China-Singapore Culture Development Co., Ltd., and Gaomen Camping.From August 6th to 9th, the convoy set off from Beijing, passing through Huludao in Liaoning, ⑷ Luhu Lake in Liaoyuan, Heaven Lake on Changbai Mountain, Helong, and finally entered the Sino-Korean border city of Yanji. It is reported that Saber Tiger Outdoor plans to create four classic RV self-drive routes this year. Route No. 202 (Beijing–Changbai Mountain), as the first operational route, will regularly organize RV self-driving camp tours. The other three routes are: the 318 Sichuan–Tibet Line, the Yangtze River Delta Jiangsu–Zhejiang Line, and the Silk Road Line (Xi'an–Urumqi).
