August 7th,“North Latitude 42°” Dream Highway RV Experience Camp No. 202The first group of members passed through Huludao in Liaoning and arrived at the second-day destination, Liaoyuan City’s Lulu Lake.

Compared to the bold and passionate beach scenery of Huludao, Lulu Lake offers a gentle and fresh landscape, with ponds and flower fields. Being here, time seems to stand still. Everyone slowed down, just a little more, breathing in the freshest air, fully feeling the moist and relaxing touch nature offers.

The journey was slightly long, but it was worth every minute for such breathtaking scenery. By 5 PM, the convoy finally arrived at the Lulu Lake camping site. The Lulu Lake camping site, located within the Lulu Lake Scenic Area — a 4A-level tourist attraction — offers many scenic spots for visitors. As the first group of RV travelers welcomed by the camp, both the local government and the camp staff paid great attention to their arrival. Not only did media come for interviews and coverage, but city officials also personally visited the site to welcome guests from all over the country. Dinner time featured hearty and delicious authentic Northeastern Chinese cuisine prepared for the travelers.

Looking back at the two-day journey, the first night was spent “pitching camp” at the generously provided camping site at Huludao’s new Aoshen Ocean Plaza, and the second night was spent “setting up camp” at the Lulu Lake camping site. Although the accommodation may be simpler compared to luxury hotels, falling asleep to the sound of sea breeze and waking up to the cries of seagulls, this kind of full immersion in nature and unity with the world is the most beautiful journey that busy, fast-paced, and routine-driven urbanites should experience.

This event was organized by Saber Tiger Outdoor, and co-organized by Wotu RV Travel, China-Singapore Culture Development Co., Ltd., and Gaomen Camping. From the 6th to the 9th, the convoy set off from Beijing, passing through Huludao in Liaoning, Liaoyuan’s Lulu Lake, Changbai Mountain’s Heaven Lake, Helong, and finally entered the Sino-Korean border city of Yanji. It is reported that Saber Tiger Outdoor plans to develop four classic RV road trip routes within the year. Route No. 202 (Beijing–Changbai Mountain), as the first operational route, will regularly organize RV self-drive camping tours. The other three routes are: the Sichuan-Tibet 318 Highway, the Yangtze River Delta Jiangsu-Zhejiang route, and the Silk Road route (Xi’an–Urumqi).
