August 7th,the first group of participants in the "42°N" Dream Highway RV Experience Camp No. 202passed through Huludao in Liaoning and arrived at their second-day destination, Egret Lake in Liaoyuan City.
Compared to the bold and passionate beach scenery of Huludao, the landscape of Egret Lake is delicate and fresh, with ponds and flower fields. Being here makes time seem to stand still. Everyone slows down a little more, breathing in the freshest air, fully feeling the moist and soothing touch nature offers.
The journey was a bit long, but it was worth every minute for such beautiful scenery. At 5 pm, the convoy finally arrived at the Egret Lake campsite. The Egret Lake campsite is located within the Egret Lake Scenic Area. As a 4A-level scenic spot, there are many attractions to explore within the campsite. As the first group of RV travelers welcomed by the campsite, both the local government and the campsite staff paid great attention. Not only did media come to cover the event, but city officials also personally came to welcome guests from all over the country. Dinner time featured hearty and delicious authentic Northeastern cuisine for the travelers.
Looking back at the two-day journey, the first day was spent “pitching camp” at the camping site generously provided by Huludao’s New Ao Ocean Square, and the second day was spent “setting up camp” at the Egret Lake campsite . Though the accommodation conditions are simpler compared to luxury hotels, falling asleep to the sound of sea breeze and waking up to the chirping of seagulls—this kind of experience of fully immersing oneself in nature and becoming one with the universe is the most beautiful journey that busy, fast-paced, and routine-driven urbanites should experience.
