Since its opening, Linghe Square in Lingyuan City has drawn numerous citizens daily to engage in leisure and recreational activities. The construction of this public welfare project has enhanced recreational facilities and fulfilled people's cultural and spiritual aspirations.

On July 1, 2011, the anniversary of China’s 90th founding year, the grand people-centered project Linghe Square in Lingyuan City was officially completed after two years of construction, marking a new chapter in the recreational life of local residents.

Upon completion, Linghe Square was designed around the theme of showcasing Lingyuan’s vibrant cultural life. It integrates sightseeing and resting, cultural leisure, social gatherings, artistic performances, and physical exercise, making it the largest comprehensive leisure square in Lingyuan to date. The square covers a total area of 78,000 square meters, including a 58,000-square-meter open space, 20,000 square meters of greenery, with a total investment of approximately 15 million yuan.

The dazzling decorative lights along the main entrance road, the crystal-clear stream, the whimsical wooden corridor, and the vividly crafted twelve zodiac pillars—all are moving sights that captivate visitors. Whether during the day or in the evening, locals flock here in their spare time, either to accompany their children or to chat with friends about various topics.

The square quietly stands by, welcoming every visitor, presenting its best side to the people of Lingyuan. Visitors are delighted to be here, as they have long awaited this square, which has brought them immeasurable joy.
