This small pagoda is a solid brick structure with a hexagonal base and five tiers of dense eaves, standing approximately 12 meters tall. It served as a burial pagoda for a high-ranking monk during the Liao Dynasty. Nearby, fragments of Liao Dynasty porcelain and the ruins of an ancient Liao Dynasty temple have been discovered. Excavations around the pagoda’s foundation have unearthed artifacts such as pottery beasts from the eaves and remnants of yellow-glazed glazed tiles. In 1984, relevant departments in Liaoning Province allocated special funds for its restoration, which has largely restored the pagoda to its original appearance.
