Genhe Wetland Scenic Area is located in the northwest suburbs of Labudalin Town, Erguna City, Hulunbuir, about 3 kilometers from the city center, covering an area of approximately 3 square kilometers.

The terrain here is flat and open, with the Genhe River, a tributary of the Erguna River, meandering through the area, forming a spectacular and beautiful riverine wetland landscape. The Genhe River flows like a silvery ribbon through the flat grasslands, and due to the river’s meandering course and natural cut-offs, several oxbow lakes are scattered across the lush green fields like strings of gems. The colors of the river, lakes, and vegetation change with the seasons, creating a scene so magnificent that it defies artificial depiction and offers endless natural beauty. This area encompasses nearly all types of natural ecosystems found in Erguna, except for primeval forests. Like a radiant and colorful jewel, it is nestled within the greenery of Erguna, embodying the theme of returning to and enjoying nature, achieving a perfect harmony between humans and nature. It integrates sightseeing, vacationing, leisure, and entertainment, fully showcasing the pristine charm of Erguna. On the high slopes on both sides of the Genhe River Valley Wetland, there are vast scenic forest belts dominated by birch and larch trees, further enhancing the diversity and visual appeal of the scenic area.

Currently, a sandy swimming beach and a Crucian Island fishing park have been built along the Genhe River, while high-end resort villas and eco-restaurants have been constructed on the high hills on the eastern side of the river valley. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful Genhe Wetland landscape from elevated spots; resting in the villas or dining in the restaurants allows one to admire the marvelous natural scenery as if immersed in nature itself — truly a delightful experience.
