E’erguna Ethnic Museum

The E’erguna Ethnic Museum (Inner Mongolia Russian Ethnic Museum) is located at No. 215, Hasar Road, Labudalin Office, E’erguna City, Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It covers an area of 3,800 square meters, with a construction area of 7,900 square meters. It features six themed exhibition halls: the “Ancient History Exhibition Hall of E’erguna,” the “Russian Ethnic Folk Custom Exhibition Hall,” the “Modern History Exhibition Hall of E’erguna,” the “Urban Planning Exhibition Hall,” the “National Mining Park Exhibition Hall,” and the “Russian Cultural Relics Exhibition Hall.” The museum displays a total of 925 sets of cultural relics. Each exhibition hall presents its collections through rich exhibits, illustrative displays, and a fusion of sound, light, electricity technologies, as well as reliefs and sculptures, comprehensively showcasing E’erguna’s profound historical and cultural heritage, its distinctive ethnic and folk cultural charm, and its diverse cultural legacy. The millennia-long history and civilization of E’erguna are condensed within this “encyclopedia.”

As a publicly accessible non-profit institution, the E’erguna Ethnic Museum is committed to preserving Mongolian and Russian ethnic folk culture, establishing the first national brand of a Russian Ethnic Museum in China, and serving society. It provides the public with a high-quality cultural venue for education, appreciation, and leisure, rooted in local culture.
