Hulunbuir Ancient City is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Hulunbuir Ancient City was developed by deeply exploring the traditional history and culture of Hulunbuir, creating a complementary advantage with the existing grassland culture, landscapes, and other tourism resources. Located on Zhengyang Street in Hailar District (at the site of the former central thoroughfare of Hulunbuir Ancient City during the Qing Dynasty), the site covers an area of 100,000 square meters. The completed ancient city includes architectural elements such as the North Gate, Middle Gate, Eight Major Merchant Houses, and the Vice-Governor’s Office, along with decorative features like openwork ornaments and statues of historical figures, recreating the historical appearance of the Qing Dynasty. Visitors can stroll down ancient streets, admire historic scenes, immerse themselves in traditional ambiance, and enjoy the unique charm of the past. It is a themed tourist destination integrating leisure, sightseeing, entertainment, shopping, dining, and accommodation.
