The Pearl of the Grassland—Hurchagannaoer Lake: Located 15 kilometers southwest of Chagan Nur Town, it covers a total area of 109.93 square kilometers and is one of the four major freshwater lakes in Inner Mongolia. Hurchagannaoer lies on the northern edge of the Hunshandake Sandy Land. With its vast surface and crystal-clear waters, the lake resembles a jade ribbon nestled between the open green grasslands and the deep blue, pristine sky, serving as a habitat for numerous wild animals. The lake is not only an important tourism resource for Ar Horqin Banner but also a key fishery production base for the entire banner.

Chagan Nur Town: Chagan Nur Sumu is located in the southwestern part of Xinhao Town. The Sumu government is based in Changtu Temple, 78 kilometers from Xinhao Town. To the east it borders Hundiwusu Sumu and Delger Sumu, to the west it neighbors Sonid Left Banner, to the south it connects with Bayan Deliger Sumu and Zhenglan Banner’s Zagesitai Sumu, and to the north it adjoins Bayan Chagan Sumu and Bogda Ula Sumu.
