The "Experience Oboo Culture and Explore the Vast Grasslands" tourism event in Xilingol League officially kicked off on June 7...

The launch ceremony of the tourism event themed "Experience Oboo Culture and Explore the Vast Grasslands" was held on June 7 at the Wulanwutai Scenic Area in Xiwuzhumuqin Banner. The event was jointly organized by the Xilingol League Tourism Bureau and the People's Government of Xiwuzhumuqin Banner, and hosted by the Xiwuzhumuqin Banner Culture, Sports, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, as well as the Xiwuzhumuqin Banner Weilisi Tourism Company.

At the launch ceremony, 10 top domestic travel influencers from the Ziyoyouxin New Media Group were appointed as "Ambassadors for the Dissemination of Grassland Tourism Civilization" and took a solemn oath.

On the day of the event, a series of activities were also held, including the Wulanwutai Oboo Worship Ceremony, the Oboo Worship Nadam Fair, the departure ceremony of the "Xilingol People Travel Xilingol" tour group, and the National Fitness Hiking Activity themed "Experience Oboo Culture and Advocate Civilized Travel."

During the "Experience Oboo Culture and Explore the Vast Grasslands" tourism event, various regions in Xilingol League will also host a rich array of oboo worship-themed activities. These include the Erdun Oboo Worship Ceremony in Xilinhot City, the Wuhu'erqin Oboo Worship Activity in Zhenglan Banner, the Worship of the Sacred Mountain Chinggis Bogd in Abga Banner, and the Ujimqin King's Gai Oboo Worship Ceremony in Xiwuzhumuqin Banner. The activities will continue until July 18.

Oboo worship is an important part of traditional Mongolian folk culture. We have integrated the green, harmonious, and shared philosophy of "revering nature, respecting nature, and protecting nature" from oboo worship throughout the event. By further refining and highlighting its essence, we aim to convey the virtue of taking from and giving back to nature through the form of oboo worship. Through the immersive experience of visitors, we hope to enhance their awareness of the importance of nature conservation, thereby achieving the goals of grassland protection and civilized travel.

Starting this year, Xilingol League will initiate the "Experience Oboo Culture and Explore the Vast Grasslands" tourism event. With sustained development over three to five years, the event aims to become a highly influential local characteristic tourism and cultural activity within Xilingol League and even the entire region.
