Cathay Pacific has entered into a domestic flight code-share agreement with UK regional airline group Flybe, allowing passengers to fly from Hong Kong to Manchester on Cathay Pacific and then connect to one of seven cities across the British Isles via Flybe’s domestic network.

Under the new agreement, selected Flybe flights between Manchester and seven UK cities — Aberdeen, Belfast, Edinburgh, Exeter, Inverness, the Isle of Man, and Southampton — will carry Cathay Pacific’s “CX” flight code.

Cathay Pacific stated that starting December 8, it will launch a new four-times-weekly non-stop service between Hong Kong and Manchester. Coupled with the code-share agreement, this will offer passengers more destination choices. The airline will also commence services to Zurich from March 2015.
