Dameisha Beach Park

Located on the magical and picturesque shores of the South China Sea, along the scenic Dapeng Bay in the eastern part of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. The park is embraced by green hills on three sides, with an open and gently sloping central area, and faces the sea on one side. A 1,800-meter-long sandy beach is nestled between these lush mountains and blue waters.

Dameisha Beach Park covers a total area of 360,000 square meters, with the beach itself stretching about 1.8 kilometers and covering 180,000 square meters, while the park’s green space spans 100,000 square meters. The Sun Plaza, which occupies approximately 13,000 square meters, is located at the center of the park. On the western side of the park lies the Moon Plaza, spanning around 4,000 square meters. Between the Sun Plaza and the Moon Plaza is a 432-meter-long Sunshine Corridor, and to the north of the corridor is a parking lot with 230 tree-shaded parking spaces. The park is home to 57 species of subtropical plants, including over 400 tall coconut trees, royal palms, and betel palms, showcasing the natural beauty of a subtropical seaside landscape. Scattered across the wide beach are six tensioned membrane structures of varying sizes, beneath which are service facilities such as leisure tea areas, shower and changing rooms, and restrooms.

Dameisha Beach Park is divided into swimming areas, sports zones, leisure areas, entertainment zones, and barbecue sites. There are numerous recreational activities available, including motorboats, beach buggies, bungee jumping, TAGADISCO, parasailing, beach volleyball, and beach soccer. Buses that go directly to the park entrance include: 387, 103, J1, 53, 242, 364, 308, and Sightseeing Bus Line 1. You can get off at either the Moon Plaza or the Sun Plaza in the park. Other buses that reach Dameisha include: 208 (get off at the terminal and walk 5 minutes to the Moon Plaza); 360 (get off at the Meisha Subdistrict Office stop and walk 5 minutes toward Yantian to reach the Sun Plaza).

By car

From Luohu Port or Shenzhen Railway Station: Take Yanhe Road to Shensha Road (Wutong Mountain Tunnel), then turn onto Shayan Road and enter the Yabao Expressway (exit at Dameisha) to reach the park. From the airport: Take the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway (or Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway) to exit at Hezhou, then get on the Jihe Expressway, exit at Henggang, take National Highway 205, turn onto Huaiyan Road, then enter Yantian Beishan Road and drive up the mountain road to Dameisha.
