Salt mountains, salt fields, egrets, black-faced spoonbills, black-tailed gulls, and milkfish are all distinctive white-toned sights found in the Yunlin–Chiayi–Tainan region. For this reason, the Yunlin–Chiayi–Tainan Management Office has specifically chosen "white" as the representative color for the coastal area’s branding, actively organizing a series of "White Yunlin–Chiayi–Tainan" tourism events such as the Twin Sculptures (Salt & Sand) Art Festival, Peaceful Salt Festival, White Christmas & Sunset Greeting.

In addition to these events, to help everyone discover the beautiful white-themed attractions in the area and in conjunction with the White Christmas activities, the Yunlin–Chiayi–Tainan Management Office has selected ten white-themed attractions that have either just been completed or are about to open, including Yunlin’s Kouhu Visitor Center, Chiayi’s Dongshi Fishing Harbor, Budai Visitor Center, Tainan’s Beimen Visitor Center, Beimenyu Church, Zizijiao Tile-Pan Salt Fields, Qianlaiye Grocery Store, Mashagou Coastal Recreation Area, Qigu Salt Mountain, and Taiwan Salt Museum. The public is invited to visit the "Yunlin–Chiayi–Tainan Fun" Facebook fan page to vote and stand a chance to win great prizes.
