Taiwan’s most beautiful Starbucks has just opened—brightly lit and featuring wooden accents that make you feel like you’re in Europe

Lately, news feeds have been flooded with photos of Taiwan’s most stunning Starbucks location. Today, we’ll take you inside to explore it all.The Starbucks Tianyu branch in Tianmu features a standalone two-story building. Its standout feature is a magnificent European-style garden, complete with an outdoor seating area where you can sit under tall, majestic trees while sipping coffee—isn’t that incredibly romantic? In addition, the indoor bar offers hand-brewed coffee and nitrogen-infused coffee, delivering a truly premium café experience.
Starbucks specifically chose to “return to Tianmu” for its 20th anniversary, selecting a site adorned with a European-style garden landscape. Paired with wooden architecture and black-and-red tiles, the interior is spacious, brightly lit, and filled with wooden decor elements. It breaks away from the usual Starbucks store image, and right after opening, it drew huge attention, becoming a new check-in hotspot in Tianmu. In addition, the Tianyu branch introduces a coffee-brewed craft beer that only a few select stores offer, instantly transforming the Starbucks into a “cozy pub.”

The interior mostly uses transparent metal mesh and natural wood as key design elements. Multiple windows and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows let in floods of sunlight, with the whole concept designed so that you can see the scenery from every angle. This customer-first approach ensures everyone gets a beautifully framed seat. Drinking coffee indoors here doesn’t feel confined or restricted—you can feel as free as camping in a forest outdoors, adding a liberating sense of openness that makes working here even more relaxing.

Nitrogen cold brew, available only at a limited number of locations, can be enjoyed here too. Black coffee infused with nitrogen loses its usual acidity and bitterness, leaving only fragrance and a creamy, silky-smooth texture. It gives off the refreshing sensation of drinking draft beer. Nitrogen coffee is only served cold, making it especially enjoyable in the summer. Since it just opened recently, the place is quite crowded. If you want to try it or come for a photo op, we recommend arriving right when it opens at 6:30 AM to secure a seat. Hurry up and make a pilgrimage to this European-style courtyard café.
