Attraction Introduction

Tea Valley is a scenic area within OCT East, comprising four zones: Interlaken, Wetland Garden, Tea Sage Ancient Town, and Sanzhou Tea Plantation. At Interlaken, you can admire European-Chinese architecture, at the Wetland Garden you can enjoy vast fields of flowers, at Tea Sage Ancient Town you can explore the old town, and at Sanzhou Tea Plantation you can view tea fields, sample tea, and breathe in fresh air.

The area has electric shuttle buses for convenience, costing 30 RMB per person. It’s a great option if you want to save time and energy, as the buses stop at all the major attractions within Tea Valley. There are six stops in total, and you can ride up to six times. The system works by stamping a ticket per ride, with one stamp per stop. After getting off at your first stop, you can explore at your own pace, take photos, and then simply board the next shuttle when it arrives—very user-friendly. If you’re feeling energetic, you can also walk the entire way, ensuring you don’t miss any scenery along the route. Walking also allows you to follow the same sequence as the shuttle buses.

Entering through the main gate, the first area you’ll come to is the Wetland Park. The main highlights of Wetland Garden are the Four Seasons Flower Field, the Four Seasons Botanical Pavilion, and the Interlaken Orchid Garden. This zone features a rich variety of plants and flowers. The most beautiful is the Four Seasons Flower Field, composed of colorful floral ribbons in red, yellow, green, purple, and orange—including romantic lavender, serene lantana, and Brazilian wild peonies—creating a breathtakingly vibrant sea of blooms, perfect for photography. At the end of the Wetland Park is the parrot performance area, where shows are scheduled based on visitor numbers.

The second stop is the Tea Sage Ancient Town, a replica of a traditional ancient town that is fairly average. Next is the Sanzhou Tea Plantation, which features rolling hills covered in hundreds of acres of tea fields, with winding wooden boardwalks running through valleys and lakesides. Strolling through the tea fields and forests, walking along the boardwalks and suspension bridges, you can take a break anywhere to soak in the fresh tea-scented air and admire the quaint beauty of the terraced tea fields. You can pick tea leaves yourself, or have them processed by professionals—takeaway is available but comes at a fee.

The final zone is Interlaken, characterized by elegant European alpine-style buildings, tranquil lakes, and charming little houses that resemble a Swiss town. A romantic and refined atmosphere permeates the area, attracting many couples who come here to shoot their wedding photos due to the town’s authentic European charm.

Tea Valley tickets cost 180 RMB. A one-day combo ticket for Adventure Valley and Tea Valley is 300 RMB, and a two-day combo ticket is 350 RMB.
