Hong Kong–Shenzhen Border Historical Museum

Originally the Hong Kong–Shenzhen Border History Memorial Hall, it is a thematic local history museum invested and constructed by the Yantian District Government of Shenzhen. The exhibition building has a total floor area of 1,688 square meters across five floors, comprehensively documenting and reflecting the century-long history of the border area.

Some innovative approaches have also been adopted in the exhibition presentation. For example, the restored display recreates the bustling and peaceful market scene of Donghe Market in the late Qing Dynasty, and a panoramic sand table of Hong Kong, Kowloon, the New Territories, and Sha Tau Kok has been created using modern electronic techniques.
