Convention and Exhibition Center

The Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center is a mega-sized public complex integrating multiple functions such as exhibitions, conferences, business, dining, and entertainment. It was invested in and constructed by the Shenzhen Municipal Government. Designed by the German firm GMP, the total investment amounted to 3.2 billion RMB.

Situated in the urban core of Shenzhen, the Convention and Exhibition Center spans 220,000 square meters, measuring 540 meters from east to west and 282 meters from north to south, with a total height of 60 meters. It has six floors above ground and three underground levels. With a total floor area of 280,000 square meters, it can host large-scale exhibitions featuring up to 5,000 international standard booths. The largest exhibition hall covers 30,000 square meters, and the biggest auditorium can accommodate 3,000 people, making it an ideal venue for various conferences, ceremonies, celebrations, performances, and other events.

The Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center is the largest single-structure building in Shenzhen. The perfect combination of steel structure, glass dome, and curtain wall gives it the appearance of a delicate “crystal palace,” highlighting the charm of convention and exhibition spaces. From Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport: Take Airport Line 9 or Bus No. 354 to “Convention and Exhibition Center Station”
