It is reported that the 2014 China (Shenzhen) International Tourism Expo will be held from November 6 to 8, 2014, at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. This edition marks the first tourism industry expo in Shenzhen, guided by the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Culture, Sports and Tourism and jointly organized by the International Leisure Industry Association, Shenzhen Tourism Association, Shenzhen Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Shenzhen Futian District Tourism Association, and others. The exhibition covers an area of 20,000 square meters and features ten exhibition zones, including tourism organizations, tourist attractions, tourism real estate, and self-drive travel.
“In addition to organizing a great tourism exhibition, we have made plans for audience engagement. Starting in September, we will launch large-scale promotional campaigns, primarily using outdoor advertisements such as building ads, bus body ads, subway ads, and LED screens. Additionally, we will use Shenzhen’s mainstream media such as the Tequ Bao, Shenzhen Commercial Daily, Metro Morning Post, and Port News for supplementary promotion. We have also engaged in in-depth communication and cooperation with groups planning year-end incentive travel, ensuring that participating tourism agencies can secure satisfactory customer sources,” continued Mr. Ren. “Beyond that, the organizing committee will also host events such as the ‘2014 China–International Tourism Innovation Communication Summit Forum,’ the ‘International Smart City Tourism Summit Forum,’ and ‘Provincial and Municipal Tourism Project Promotion Conferences.’ We warmly welcome the general public to visit and experience world scenery locally, choose their favorite travel destinations, and fulfill their wishes of taking their families on vacation.”
