Xiasha

Xiasha Village is located on the shores of Shenzhen Bay in the southwestern part of Futian District, adjacent to Hong Kong and close to downtown Shenzhen. To the east is a golf club, to the south lies Shenzhen Bay, to the north is Xiangmihu Lake, and to the west it connects with three of Shenzhen’s major tourist attractions — Splendid China, Window of the World, and Xiangmihu Holiday Resort. The village is also traversed by three of the city’s major transportation arteries: Binhai Avenue, Shennan Avenue, and the Guangzhou–Shenzhen Expressway. Its geographical location and transportation infrastructure are highly advantageous.

Xiasha is a renowned cultural tourism highlight in Shenzhen, known for its rich folk customs. The village features a number of popular historical sites among visitors, including the Xiasha Archway, the Huang Siming Ancestral Hall, the Chenyanghou Temple, and a statue of the Buddha. It also boasts the city’s only village-built museum and a scenic leisure park. Xiasha Village is rich in tourism resources, including historic ancient architecture, cultural squares with diverse cultural exhibits, the scenic mangrove nature reserve, distinctive folk customs, and the world-famous “basin cuisine.” Moreover, several well-known fashion factories are open for tourist visits and shopping. Xiasha has developed into a new tourist destination. The village is also seeing vigorous development in science and education, with significant investment in schools, kindergartens, and libraries, as well as incentives for students to excel academically.
