The Shenzhen Silver Lake Tourist Center is located in the northern part of Shenzhen city, surrounded by mountains, lush forests, fresh air, and an elegant environment. It is the most garden-style resort-style tourist destination in Shenzhen and was once rated as one of the "Top Ten Scenic Spots of Pengcheng" by both the general public and expert professors in a selection organized by the tourism bureau.

　The Silver Lake Tourist Center integrates five major functions: reception, conferences, tourism, vacationing, and business. It is a reception base under the administration of the Shenzhen Municipal Government Reception Office and has long been the main venue for the municipal government to receive state guests and foreign envoys.

The center has two meeting venues that can accommodate 400 people each, two that can hold 150 people, five that accommodate 50–100 people, and nearly 20 that can host 20–30 people, all equipped with comprehensive conference facilities. Among them, the Silver Lake Grand Hall can accommodate 400 people for meetings or 300 people for dining, making it an ideal venue for conference banquets, cocktail parties, group buffets, large-scale dances, film screenings, fashion and dance performances, and various investment promotion events. There is also the "Octagonal Pavilion," designed entirely in the shape of the Bagua (Eight Trigrams), and the magnificent "Multi-function Hall."

Covering an area of 20,000 square meters, the Silver Lake Tourist Center features pavilions, corridors, towers, and terraces built along or near the water, with a wide variety of exotic flowers and trees planted throughout the scenic area. The seven villas at Silver Lake draw inspiration from the essence of the four famous gardens of Guangdong during the Qing Dynasty and incorporate landscaping techniques from Suzhou and Hangzhou gardens. Ingeniously designed, they represent a seamless blend of human craftsmanship and natural beauty. The center offers a variety of recreational facilities and activities including horseback riding, go-karting, yachting, bumper cars, billiards, arcade games, live-fire shooting, barbecue areas, laser shooting, aerial lifts, bowling, table tennis, fishing, tennis, golf, tandem biking, archery, and beauty salons.
