Description: Research indicates that Longqiu Well was dug when the Zhuang family’s fourth-generation ancestor Mengzhai and fifth-generation ancestor Zhuang Run established the village during the early Ming Dynasty. It has undergone multiple renovations, and the current structure dates back to the Qing Dynasty. Fifty meters west of Longqiu Ancient Well stand two ancient banyan trees. The well opening is built with thick flagstones into a hexagonal shape, with each side measuring 0.65 meters. The circular well shaft has a diameter of 1.5 meters. The well walls are constructed from blue bricks laid in a one-stretcher-one-header pattern. The well is 2.16 meters deep. Since ancient times, the water here has been sweet and clear, while the surrounding groundwater has been salty and bitter. This offers scientific reference value for the study of ancient well site selection, as well as the local geology, hydrology, and environmental changes.
