Description: The Shixia Watchtower was built in the early years of the Republic of China. It is located in the center of Shixia Village, measuring 4.9 meters in width, 4.6 meters in depth, and covering an area of 22 square meters. It faces south and is built from earth and wood. The exterior walls are constructed with rammed earth panels, and the tower stands 16.5 meters tall. The building has five stories, with wooden floors connecting each level. Each floor features design openings in the outer walls that serve both ventilation and lighting purposes, and the top floor includes defensive structures that protrude from the wall. This building is a witness to the social conditions of the Shenzhen area during the late Qing and early Republican periods, holding certain historical value. The Pan Clan Ancestral Hall is located to the south of Shixia Village in Shatou Subdistrict Office, Futian District. It was established during the Qing Dynasty and follows a three-bay, two-depth, one-courtyard architectural layout, measuring 10.3 meters in width and 19.6 meters in total depth. The structure includes a courtyard gate, front hall, main hall, and two side corridors.
