Description: Shangsha Tin Hau Temple is located next to the Huaide Huang Ancestral Hall. It was first built during the Ming Dynasty and underwent multiple renovations in later generations. The existing structure features Qing Dynasty architectural style. The temple faces south and is arranged with three bays, two courtyards, and one central patio. The total width is 12.30 meters, the overall depth is 13.7 meters, and the area is 208 square meters. The main structure is built with a combination of brick and wood. The surrounding walls are constructed from blue bricks, while the interior features a post-and-lintel wooden frame. The beams and brackets are adorned with exquisite wood carvings, and some components are made of granite. The roof is covered with tubular gray tiles and features a classic ridge decoration. Both the main ridge and the decorative gables on the side walls are embellished with gray plaster reliefs of plants and animals, showcasing an elegant style. Shangsha Tin Hau Temple is one of the oldest surviving traditional buildings in the city, noted for its delicate design, refined composition, and exquisite craftsmanship.
