Xiasha Village Museum

The Xiasha Village Museum is a cultural facility invested in by Xiasha Industrial Co., Ltd. with tens of millions of special funds. The museum was completed in May 2005 and opened to the public free of charge. It documents over 800 years of Xiasha’s development history, promotes outstanding traditional culture, and helps more people understand the unique customs and local flavor of Xiasha, as well as the culture of Lingnan. At the same time, to inspire the younger generation to carry forward the pioneering, hardworking, and innovative spirit of their ancestors and continue striving to create a better future for Xiasha, the museum building also houses a library, activity centers for veteran cadres, Party members, and seniors, a security monitoring center, and a childcare and education center—multi-functional spaces that are open to all residents free of charge. The museum mainly showcases traditional cultural items with the charm of southern Guangdong and the style of Lingnan, including ancient relics, sculptures, paintings, photographs, and more. The museum is divided into four major exhibition halls, each displaying different aspects of Xiasha’s culture.
