Opened on November 7, 2005, the exhibition hall covers an area of 450 square meters and currently houses over 200 collections, including various types of exquisite stones such as water-washed stones from Liuzhou, Guangxi, red pebble stones from the Yangtze River in Sichuan, pear-skin stones from Dahua County, Guangxi, Wujiang stones from Guizhou, Lingbi stones from Anhui, and malachite from Xinjiang. Some resemble mountain ranges, some resemble animals, and some resemble paintings—all are masterpieces of nature’s craftsmanship, inspiring awe at the wonders of the natural world. According to incomplete statistics, there are currently 16 provincial-level stone appreciation associations nationwide, along with over 1,200 stone appreciation organizations at various levels, and millions of collectors, researchers, and dealers of ornamental stones. Stone appreciation is a traditional Chinese culture. Through this museum, Shuiwei Village aims to build a platform to provide a showcase for stone enthusiasts across the country, as well as to add a new highlight to the spiritual and cultural life of Shenzhen residents. The public can visit these treasures free of charge, helping to establish stone appreciation culture as a cultural brand for both Shuiwei Village and the city of Shenzhen.

Shuiwei Community: Established in June 2002, Shuiwei Community was formed from the former Longqiu and Jiekou neighborhood committees. It borders Jintian Road to the east, Fuqiang Road to the south, Huanggang Park Street to the west, and Fumin Road to the north, covering a total area of approximately 250,000 square meters. It has a registered population of 2,632 and a transient population of nearly 26,000.
