Huang Siming Ancestral Hall

Huang Siming Ancestral Hall is a cultural heritage site protected by the Shenzhen Municipal Government.

Huang Siming Ancestral Hall is located in Dongyong Village, Futian District, Shenzhen. It was built by the Huang clan of the village to commemorate their eighth-generation ancestor, Huang Siming. Constructed around the Ming Dynasty, it is a traditional ancestral hall-style building featuring three bays in width, three sections in depth, and two courtyards. The structure spans 14 meters in width and 43 meters in depth, covering a construction area of 602 square meters. It includes a main gate, side chambers, a central hall, rear hall, front corridor, and rear corridor. The stone plaque above the main gate is inscribed with “Huang Siming Public Ancestral Hall,” and the couplet reads: “Blessings extend through Sanli; Renown reaches Chengxiang.” The entire building features a rigorous layout and an imposing presence. Its roof ridges and gable walls are adorned with elaborate plaster relief art patterns, while the front wall, interior walls, beams, and eaves are decorated with exquisite murals and finely carved woodwork in gold and wood, offering considerable artistic and historical value.

In 1987, it was designated as a cultural heritage site by the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government.
