The Baguang Rural Scenic Area is located in Kuiyong, Longgang District. It consists of 18 natural villages scattered along a 16-kilometer coastline, characterized by mountainous terrain and limited flat land. Here, you’ll find blue skies, white clouds, rolling low hills, lush forests, and vast green fields—offering captivating scenery. It’s an ideal destination for visitors to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, embrace nature, and experience the poetic charm of “picking chrysanthemums beneath the eastern hedge while gazing leisurely at the southern mountains.” The area is home to a variety of ancient trees with beautiful forms, many of which are over a hundred years old. Along the coastline, there are also mangrove clusters. Due to its remote location and previously inconvenient transportation, the area has maintained excellent ecological conditions. Today, it remains a place of clear mountains, lucid waters, lush forests, bountiful fruit, and abundant seafood. During the fruit season, lychees, wampees, and longans are everywhere, within easy reach. Visitors who take a break from their busy lives and accidentally stumble upon this tranquil village may feel as though they’ve entered a dreamlike paradise.

Taking a small wooden boat out to sea and fishing in a primitive way can also provide urban dwellers with hours of enjoyment.
