Pengcheng Zhao Ancestral Hall is located at the northern end of Nanmen Street within the ancient city of Dapeng in Pengcheng Community, Dapeng Subdistrict, Longgang District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province. It is a mid-Qing Dynasty government office-style building. Locally, it is also known as the "Grand Government Office" or "Governor's Mansion." As an early Qing Dynasty structure, historical evidence from the Dapeng Fort map in the 1808 *Xin'an County Annals* (Jiaqing Edition) shows the location marked as "Zhao Ancestral Hall," indicating that the hall was built before the 24th year of the Jiaqing reign (1813). The entire building faces south and has a width of approximately 7 meters and a depth of about 28 meters, covering a construction area of 168 square meters. The layout consists of three bays, two courtyards, and one central skywell. It features a stone foundation, grey brick walls, wooden beams, tiled roofing, and a ship-shaped ridge — all characteristics of an early Qing Dynasty government office-style architecture, later repurposed as a temple or ancestral hall.
