General Lai Shiyang’s Former Residence is located on Laifu Lane in Dapeng Fortress and was originally built in the mid-Qing Dynasty. General Lai Shiyang was one of the “Five Generals Across Three Generations” of the Lai family. He served as the Commander-in-Chief of the Fujian Navy and was granted the title of Founding Duke General, ranking as a First-Class Official. The entire building faces west and covers an area of 230 square meters. Its layout consists of three bays over three courtyards with two skywells, featuring a brick-and-timber structure and a tiled roof with a flush gable.
