This park is the largest rare animal sika deer breeding base in South China. Located in the picturesque Longshan Town, Fogang County, it is about 15 kilometers from Huanghua Lake Tourist Area. Officially opened on New Year’s Day 2004, the park has an investment of nearly 30 million yuan and is a large-scale tourism feature industry integrating modern animal husbandry, science education, and sightseeing. The park uses modern technology to artificially breed over 1,000 sika deer, as well as a large number of other rare animals and plants such as ostriches, horses, camels, peacocks, koi fish, and exotic flowers and plants. Longshan Town: a town under the jurisdiction of Fogang County. It was established as Longshan District in 1956, changed to a township in 1957, renamed Jiaojian Commune in 1958, then renamed Longshan Commune in 1959, reinstated as a district in 1983, and became a town in 1987.
