Yangjiao Mountain Cave Rafting

The cave rafting is located within the Yangjiao Mountain Provincial Forest Park in Fogang District, Qingyuan, also known as Yangjiao Mountain Rafting. The starting point of the rafting is hidden deep in the shade of the trees, and looking along the water flow, you can't even see daylight. The rafting section is entirely concealed within the primeval forest, with only occasional rays of sunlight squeezing through, leaving dappled marks. This is the origin of the name “Cave Rafting.”

Along the banks of the rafting river are forests and towering cliffs, the water is crystal clear, and dark rocks are scattered throughout the river—there's barely enough room for a single kayak to pass through.

With your body nestled in a tub-like raft, you bounce and jolt through the rapids, feeling intense impacts on your waist, back, neck, and — well — your backside. When you hit the drops from one to five meters... you're launched into the air before crashing down... and just like that, it feels like your soul leaves your body.

In Yangjiao Mountain Forest Park, besides rafting, creek tracing and adventure is another activity many travelers choose. This experience is especially suited to those who are not able—or not yet ready—to take part in rafting but still want to feel the thrill of it. Though slightly less intense than rafting, it’s still absolutely exhilarating. To make creek tracing different from a regular forest walk, the scenic area has specially designed obstacles along the route—floating bridges, zip lines, inflatable rafts, suspension bridges, rock climbing, and dense forest crossings—to test one’s willpower and courage. It allows visitors to enjoy the serene beauty of green mountains, flowing streams, layered pools, birdsong, misty valleys, and cascading waterfalls, while also relishing the joy of overcoming these challenges.
