Dragon Roar Gorge is located in Fogang County, known as the hometown of hot spring rafting in Guangdong. The scenic area sits at the foot of Duyi Mountain, a renowned peak in northern Guangdong, and is also the source of the Pajiang River, the mother river of the local people. Invested in and developed by Fogang Dragon Roar Gorge Tourism Co., Ltd., this rafting course was the company’s first flagship attraction, with an initial investment of 20 million yuan.

The Dragon Roar Gorge rafting course follows the natural terrain and mountain contours, preserving the area’s pristine ecological landscape along the way. Glacial rocks, flowing springs, and waterfalls dot the riverbanks, while the water itself is crystal-clear mountain spring water. The entire course spans 6 kilometers with a drop of over 100 meters. It features China's first—and Guangdong Province’s longest and steepest—“Great Wall Slide,” a 300-meter stretch with a 70-meter drop that is the highlight of the rafting experience. Drifting down this section, your raft speeds through thrilling waves and splashes, zigzagging through the rapids, prompting exclamations of excitement and sheer thrill.

At the exit of the Great Wall Slide lies Cuihu (Emerald Lake), where the river widens and the banks are lined with lush green hills. The lake is clear and tranquil, offering beautiful views of the water and surrounding mountains—a perfect spot to relax after the adrenaline rush. The S-shaped slide follows the flow of the water, twisting and turning to keep the excitement going non-stop.

Next comes Maple Tree Pool, featuring two high-drop leaps in succession. Just as one wave subsides, another rises—like falling from the sky, with non-stop screams, heart-pounding thrills, and constant danger keeping your adrenaline surging. After this wild ride, there’s only one word to describe it: “Awesome.”

The final stretch of the rafting course is calm and leisurely, with gentle flowing water. Here, you can splash around and engage in playful water fights, or simply lie back and relax, letting the breeze caress your face as you enjoy the pastoral scenery.
