Zhu Gudun Site

The Zhu Gudun Site is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Zhu Gudun Site is located on a hill about 500 meters southwest of Weizhen Village, Tangtang Town, Fogang County. It dates back to the late Neolithic period. Discovered in the 1950s by the provincial archaeological team, it was rediscovered in 1982 during a county cultural relics survey by the cultural relics team of the county culture bureau. The site covers an area of 4,500 square meters and has yielded pottery items such as jars, bowls, and cups, decorated with patterns including meander, thundercloud, and cord marks. Stone tools found include axes, adzes, chisels, arrowheads, rings, and ring cores. The presence of ring cores indicates that this site was also used for stone tool production.

Weizhen Village: The village has a total population of 3,200, divided among 5 natural villages and 19 villager groups, with cultivated land covering 1,654 mu and mountainous land spanning 5,700 mu.

A total of 134 mu of sugar orange trees have been planted in Weizhen Village.
