The Dongkeng Huang Clan Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Guangdong Province.

The Dongkeng Ancestral Hall is located in Dongkeng Village, Shuitou Town, Fogang County. Originally built during the Ming Dynasty, it has been reconstructed in various dynasties. The current structure features Qing Dynasty architectural style, faces south with its back to the north, and is of considerable scale, covering an area of 1,432 square meters. The layout is a three-courtyard, three-row quadrangle design, with Qingyun Lanes separating the main hall from the side halls. The main building has a flush gable roof, green-glazed tile decorations, and a post-and-lintel wooden frame structure. The beams and brackets are adorned with exquisite wood carvings, while the roof ridges feature colorful plaster sculptures depicting figures, landscapes, dragons, phoenixes, flowers, and birds. These artworks are strikingly lifelike, ranking among the finest in Fogang’s ancestral hall decorative arts.

In 1986, the Fogang County People's Government designated it as a cultural relic protection unit. On November 8, 2008, the General Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province issued the "Notice on the Announcement of the Fifth Batch of Guangdong Provincial Cultural Relic Protection Units," listing the Dongkeng Huang Clan Ancestral Hall among them.

Established as Shuitou District in 1955, reorganized as a township in 1957, converted to a people's commune in 1959, reinstated as a district in 1983, and officially became a town in 1987.
