Fogang Sanyuan Pavilion

Fogang Sanyuan Pavilion is a cultural relic protection unit of Fogang County.

Fogang Sanyuan Pavilion is located in Dapu Village, Tangtang Town, Fogang County. Named "Sanyuan Pavilion" after the phrase “to dwell where one wishes and find what one seeks,” it has long served as a place for travelers from all directions to rest and enjoy tea. Built in the year Renchen of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1892), the pavilion covers an area of 100 square meters, with a three-bay width and a single-bay depth, and the various sections are connected by round gates. The first section on the right side of the pavilion is for men to rest, the second for women, and the third serves as the attendant’s quarters and kitchen. Under the inner eaves of the first section, a horizontal plaque displays the pavilion’s rules: “Please have tea, but keep men and women separate” and “Travelers passing through are not allowed to stay overnight.” There are also five inscribed stone tablets preserved, documenting the construction of the pavilion, its regulations, the names of donors, and detailed income and expenditure records.

In 1986, the Fogang County People's Government designated it as a cultural relic protection unit.

Dapu Village: Dapu Village is located in the central-northern part of Tangtang Town. The village committee is two to three kilometers from the Tangtang Town government. The Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway and National Highway 106 run north-south through Dapu Village, and the Tangtang exit of the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway is within the jurisdiction of Dapu Village.

Dapu Village has a total population of 3,043, with 673 households, and cultivated land area of 1,065 mu, including 850 mu of paddy fields.
