Huite Naote Grassland Tourist Area, located southwest of Huolin Gol City and 35 kilometers from the city center, covers an area of 40,000 mu. Here, the grass is lush and green, stretching as far as the eye can see on the vast, flat land. In the distance, rolling mountains appear and disappear in the horizon, with blue skies set against the green land and white clouds mingling with flocks of sheep. The poetic scene of “boundless sky and boundless wilderness, where the wind blows low and reveals cattle and sheep” is fully on display. The Horqin Grassland and Xilingol Grassland converge here, making it one of the best-preserved pristine grasslands in the world today, truly earning the title of “Premium Grassland.” It is dotted with three natural lakes—Zha Ha Naote, Dun De Zha Ha Naote, and Huite Naote—and is home to a rich diversity of wildlife and plant species. Coupled with the distinctive and vibrant Mongolian culture, it serves as a uniquely advantageous destination for primitive grassland tourism and summer retreats.

The dining options at Huite Naote Grassland Tourist Area mainly feature whole roasted lamb, hand-held lamb, grassland sausage, and traditional Mongolian set meals, along with a variety of daily stir-fried dishes. The area also offers recreational and ceremonial activities such as horse riding, horse lassoing, horse racing, camel riding, riding in a wooden cart (leleche), driving off-road vehicles, archery, wrestling, bonfire parties, Oboo worship, viewing sacred trees, visiting herders, and horseback welcoming ceremonies. Currently, it has the capacity to accommodate 2,000 diners and 200 overnight guests. Building on existing offerings, the area plans to gradually develop additional activities including ice skating, skiing, grass sledding, shooting, hunting, water sports, and aerial experiences.
