The deep purple-red color peeks through the green skin, and one bite reveals a crisp, sweet, and refreshing flavor that’s truly delightful. This is the Sanhua plum, a specialty fruit of Wengyuan and a rare, high-quality fruit of Guangdong.

The Sanhua Plum Sightseeing Garden is primarily located in Sanhua Village, Longxian Town, Wengyuan County, with approximately 25,000 mu of plum orchards cultivated throughout the county. Provincial Highway Guanlong runs through the area, about 15 kilometers from National Highway 106 and 15 kilometers from the county seat. It is one of the distinctive agricultural sightseeing gardens in northern Guangdong. The garden offers activities such as agricultural tourism, fruit and flower picking, and farm stays. The Weng River flows through the site, providing opportunities for bamboo rafting and drifting. Nearby, there are also famous attractions such as Shu Tang Stone.

Sanhua Village: 【Sanhua Village】 comprises 9 villager groups, with a total of 500 households and a population of 1,932. It has 3,800 mu of arable land, including 1,800 mu of paddy fields and 2,000 mu of dry land, as well as 10,405 mu of forested area. The village currently has 5 cadres in its “two committees” and 46 Communist Party members. The main agricultural products are rice, vegetables, and fruits.
