The Youlan Valley Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Youlan Valley Scenic Area is located within the Aotou Mountain Forest Park in Wengcheng Town, Wengyuan County. It is a diversified tourist resort integrating ecological agriculture, eco-tourism, and leisure vacation. The core area, Youlan Manor, covers an area of 400 acres and is China’s first gentleman culture manor. It features comprehensive facilities, an elegant environment, an emphasis on ecology, and reverence for nature.

On November 16, 2017, the Youlan Valley successfully achieved the status of a national AAA-level tourist attraction. Youlan Valley (formerly known as Youlan Manor) is located in the Aotou Mountain Forest Park in Wengcheng Town, Wengyuan County, Shaoguan. With the traditional cultural themes of plum blossom, orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum, and tea, it has developed a distinctive dining and leisure farmstead, integrating ecological agriculture, eco-tourism, and leisure vacation into a diversified tourist manor.

Youlan Valley now has a dining area and accommodation facilities capable of hosting 100 guests. Its Huizhou-style architecture always attracts the admiration of visitors. There are 2 meeting rooms, a naturally sourced mountain spring water swimming pool (maintained at around 21°C year-round), a mountain spring-fed fishpond fishing area, an orchid culture corridor, and an exhibition hall that combines orchids with calligraphy and painting.

The site includes a 150-acre traditional green agricultural experience zone (with tea, vegetables, fruits, etc.), a 150-acre bamboo forest, 800 plum trees of 13 varieties, and a 50-acre specialized greenhouse for orchid cultivation. It provides visitors with a place to enjoy the serene bamboo forests in summer and the fragrant blossoms of plum and orchid in winter.
