Wengyuan County Museum

Wengyuan County Museum was established on August 1, 1984, as a public institution. It covers a construction area of 1,500 square meters and has six exhibition halls, divided into three sections: historical relics, folk relics, and relics from the revolutionary struggle. The museum houses precious collections of historical relics, folk relics, and relics from the revolutionary struggle. The museum is responsible for discovering, collecting, excavating, organizing, identifying, preserving, researching, and protecting cultural relics. It serves functions such as collection, exhibition, research, and education, and is one of the patriotic education bases in Wengyuan County. The museum adheres to the principle of "protection first, rescue foremost" in cultural relic preservation, and follows the principles of prioritizing protection, rational utilization, and strengthened management to discover, rescue, protect, and manage cultural relics in Wengyuan.
