The former site of the battle to attack "Yanglonghe" is located in Yangjiang Village, Sanjiao Town, Lianping County.

"Yanglonghe" was the largest bureaucratic landlord group in the Sanjiao area of Lianping County during the Liberation War, led by Ouyang Dasan. Ouyang Dasan built three large new houses in Yangjiang Village, the last of which was a four-corner tower house with high walls and thick structures, making it exceptionally sturdy. Over 80 members of the Nationalist Party’s Sanjiao Township Militia were stationed there for a long time. They opposed the Communists and guerrilla forces, hunted down and killed Communist guerrillas and their families in the Sanjiao area, cooperated with Nationalist troops in over ten encirclement and pursuit operations against the guerrillas, and acted with great arrogance. They were the biggest obstacle to our Party’s revolutionary activities and armed struggle in the Dahua and Sanjiao areas.

The arrogance of "Yanglonghe" provoked strong indignation among local soldiers and civilians. After attempts at persuasion for surrender failed, our Party resolved to eliminate "Yanglonghe" by force. In mid-December 1947, based on intelligence gathered through reconnaissance, the troops dispatched over 200 soldiers from three squads—Pearl River, Jiujiang, and Hongyan—to Dahua. At 4 p.m., the troops arrived at Sankoutang by West Lake in Dahua and assembled there. Zheng Qun gave a pre-battle mobilization speech and outlined the combat plan. The troops then split into two routes and advanced directly toward "Yanglonghe." Upon spotting the troops, the enemy immediately retreated and fortified their defenses, firing wildly. Unable to approach, our forces surrounded "Yanglonghe" on all sides. The battle lasted until 11 p.m., when a squad of our soldiers, under heavy covering fire, placed explosives at the main gate and blew it open. The troops then charged inside, unleashing fierce firepower that overwhelmed the enemy, causing numerous casualties. Some enemies who attempted to resist, seeing the inevitable defeat, had no choice but to surrender. In this battle, over 80 firearms, 4 pistols, more than 10,000 rounds of ammunition, over 100 new quilts, over 100 boxes of clothing, more than 10 loads of fresh fish and seafood, over 60 barrels of kerosene, several dozen kilograms of tea, 4 large water buffalo, 8 large pigs, and a large quantity of grain and supplies were seized. After the elimination of "Yanglonghe," public anger was quelled and supplies were replenished. This battle had a significant impact in the Jiulian region.
