Yifeng Su Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Heyuan City.

Yifeng Su Ancestral Hall is located in Suwei Village, Yihé Town, Dongyuan County. It was first built in the late Ming Dynasty. Originally the Guanghua Hall of Su Yifeng, the 16th-generation descendant of the Song Dynasty literary figure Su Dongpo, it was later renamed Yifeng Su Ancestral Hall.

The ancestral hall has a three-courtyard, quadrangle-style layout. The main building features a flush-gable roof and a post-and-lintel beam system. The main gate is built with massive stone walls, and the stone plaque above the gate is inscribed in raised relief with the five large characters “Yifeng Su Ancestral Hall.” On either side is a 20-centimeter square stone couplet: “Meishan opens its flourishing branches; He Shui extends its tributary flows.” The calligraphy is bold and powerful. Beneath the eaves are three painted beams, with the left and right beams carved with auspicious motifs such as dragons, lions, phoenixes, and qilins, as well as floral and bird patterns including plum blossoms, orchids, chrysanthemums, and bamboo. The central beam is inscribed with the four large characters “Jíxiáng Rúyì” (Good Fortune as Wished). The painted eaves feature wooden carvings of qilins, horses, monkeys, dogs, and other reliefs such as brackets and blocks, all exquisitely crafted and lifelike, providing tangible material for the study of Ming Dynasty architecture and carving art.

Yihé Town: Yihé Town is located in the southeastern part of Dongyuan County, along the middle and upper reaches of the Dong River, approximately 20 kilometers from downtown Heyuan. The town covers a total area of 176.77 square kilometers, including 0.91 million mu of arable land and 21.4 million mu of mountainous land. It governs nine village committees and one neighborhood committee, with a total population of 21,000.

Yihé Town enjoys a prominent geographical location and convenient transportation. The Heyuan–Meizhou Expressway, the Beijing–Kowloon Railway, and the Guangzhou–Meizhou–Shantou Railway all run through the town. The exit of the Heyuan–Meizhou Expressway is located in Qutan Village, less than 1,000 meters from the town center.
