Xiankeng Rongfeng Mansion

Xiankeng Rongfeng Mansion is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Guangdong Province.

Rongfeng Mansion is located in Xiankeng Village, Kanghe Town, Dongyuan County, Heyuan City. The "Rongfeng Mansion" Four-Courtyard Tower covers an area of over 4,000 square meters. The entire building is square-shaped, with a rigorous structure and a balanced, symmetrical layout. It is divided into four main sections and four wings, with the wings featuring distinct sections, hence the name "Four-Courtyard Tower." This building was established by Ye Jingting (Ye Zheng), the 27th-generation ancestor of the Ye family, during the Jiaqing era of the Qing Dynasty and took over 10 years to complete.

Xiankeng Village: Xiankeng Village is located approximately 60 kilometers east of Dongyuan County’s county seat in Guangdong Province, under the jurisdiction of Kanghe Town, Dongyuan County, and about 12 kilometers south of Kanghe Town’s market street. Established during the Qing Dynasty, it has a history of nearly 400 years. The entire village is shaped like a golden cauldron, covering an area of about 2,340 hectares. It preserves over 20 well-maintained ancient residential buildings, 7.5 kilometers of ancient streets and alleys, two ancient tombs, three ancient wells, and the original architectural style remains largely intact. Representative ancient structures mainly include the Octagonal Tower and the Four-Courtyard Tower. The village has over 400 resident households, with a total population of more than 1,700 people.
