The former site of the Qu Long Branch is designated as a patriotic education base.

The former site of the Qu Long Branch is located in Qu Long Village, Kanghe Town, Dongyuan County.

In the winter of 1925, influenced by the peasant movement in Haifeng, Zhong Zihuai, Liu Xiqin, and others initiated and organized the first peasant association in Dongyuan County, the "Soviet Qu Long Peasant Association." Lai Min served as the president, and the meeting place was set up in this very house. From then on, the peasant movement in Dongyuan County flourished under the leadership of the Party. Within less than a year, 24 peasant associations were established across the county, with over 2,400 members. In the winter of 1927, the first grassroots Communist Party organization in Dongyuan County—the Qu Long Branch—was formed, with Lai Min as the branch secretary, directly under the leadership of the Special Branch of the CPC Zijin County.

The site is a residential building constructed during the Qing Dynasty. It faces south and has a two-courtyard, three-room layout, with a total width of 13.5 meters and a depth of 44 meters, covering an area of 594 square meters. The structure is made of earth, wood, brick, and tile, with a stone foundation, earthen brick walls, and load-bearing roof beams. It features a flush-gable roof. In 2011, the Dongyuan County People's Government renovated the site.

In June 2011, it was designated as a patriotic education base by the Heyuan Municipal Committee and Municipal Government.
