Shangyuan Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery is a classic red tourism attraction.

Shangyuan Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery is located at Pengwugang in Xinnan Village, Shangyuan Town.

In the 1950s, a martyrs' monument was built on Xuetanggang. Due to surrounding residential construction, it was relocated to its current site in 1991 where a memorial monument was built. The site was expanded into a revolutionary martyrs' cemetery in 2002, covering an area of over 4,000 square meters. The cemetery features a memorial pavilion and a rest corridor. Two inscription walls display calligraphy from more than 20 veteran leaders including Ren Zhongyi, Lin Ruo, Liang Weilin, and Zheng Qun. There are over 20 flower stands of various shapes throughout the cemetery, planted with a variety of flowers, plants, and trees.

Above the main gate of the cemetery is inscribed “Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery.” There are two side gates with couplets on the gate pillars: one reads “Through sacrifice, great aspirations arise; we dare to change the sun and moon for a new sky,” and the other reads “Great in life, glorious in death.” The screen walls on both sides of the gate are engraved in granite with Chairman Mao Zedong’s two seven-character quatrains, “The Long March” and “The People's Liberation Army Captures Nanjing,” as well as “The Song of the Steel Company” and “Map of the Armed Struggle Situation in the Jiulian Region.” At the rear of the cemetery stands an 8-meter-high Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument, situated on a 1-meter-high, 100-square-meter platform. The lower part of the monument contains an inscription, and behind it lies the martyrs’ tomb, with gravestones engraved with the names of 40 martyrs—35 from the Liberation War and 5 from the Korean War and the Counterattack in Self-Defense Against Vietnam.
