The Site of the Xianshuitang Meeting is a classic red tourism destination and a patriotic education base.

The Site of the Xianshuitang Meeting is located in Xianshuitang, Changjiangtou Village, Lan Kou Town, Dongyuan County.

On May 7th in the spring of 1949, leaders of the Dongjiang Second Detachment of the Guangdong–Jiangxi–Hunan Border Column and Zeng Tianjie, commander of the Nationalist Reorganized 13th Regiment, held their third negotiation at this site. They reached agreements on the timing of the uprising, coordinated operations, and the reorganization of troops following the uprising. The Xianshuitang Meeting was a crucial negotiation aimed at persuading the Reorganized 13th Regiment to defect. It holds significant historical importance for the early liberation of the Heyuan area and even the entire Dongjiang region. Four days after the meeting, Lin Jingqiu and Liang Jun went to Lan Kou to organize the uprising of the Reorganized 13th Regiment. This site has certain value for studying the history of the Liberation War in Dongyuan.

The site is a civilian residence of the Zhang family in Xianshuitang Village, facing southwest and situated northeast, built in the late Qing Dynasty. The building is a Hakka-style dwelling consisting of two halls and a watchtower, with a layout of two courtyards. It has a total width of 16 meters, a total depth of 13.6 meters, and a construction area of 220 square meters. It features a flush gable roof with pantile roofing.

In November 2011, it was designated as a patriotic education base by the Heyuan Municipal Committee and Municipal Government.
