The former site of the first meeting of the Ninth Guerrilla Area Working Committee of the Communist Party of China is a classic red tourism attraction.

The former site of the first meeting of the Ninth Guerrilla Area Working Committee of the Communist Party of China is located in Rubei Village, Yetan Town, Dongyuan County.

In March 1947, Yan Shangmin, Secretary of the Ninth Guerrilla Area Working Committee of the CPC, together with leaders including Wei Nanjin, Zhong Junxian, and Lin Ruo, held a meeting at Duanxin Building Corner in Rubei Village, Yetan Town, Dongyuan County. The participants were members of the county committees of Zijin (Jin), Wuhua, Longchuan, and Heyuan, as well as key armed personnel from Hedong, Hexi, Wuhua, Longchuan, and Zijin. The purpose was to convey the directives from the Party Central Committee and the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee regarding the resumption of armed struggle and to make specific arrangements. This was the first (enlarged) meeting of the Ninth Guerrilla Area Working Committee after its establishment, also known as the Huangcun Meeting.

This historical site was built during the Republican era. It is a two-story civilian house constructed with lime-compacted walls, featuring a tiled roof. The architectural craftsmanship is exquisite, and the building remains well-preserved to this day.
