Junchen Primary School – Site of the Former CPC Hexi County Committee is a classic red tourism destination.

Junchen Primary School – Site of the Former CPC Hexi County Committee is located at Junchen Primary School in Xinmin Village, Shangguan Town, Dongyuan County.

In September 1941, after the Rear Dong Special Committee of the CPC established the Hexi County Committee west of the Dongjiang River, a commissioner system was implemented in January 1942. Zhang Ping was appointed as the Commissioner of Hexi County, with Zheng Zhongwen as the Deputy Commissioner. In January 1943, after Zhang Ping was transferred, Zheng Zhongwen took over as Commissioner. At that time, Commissioner Zheng Zhongwen carried out revolutionary work and organized activities under the cover of teaching at Junchen Primary School in Shangguan. The headquarters of the Hexi County Committee was located at Junchen Primary School in Shangguan. In July 1944, after Zheng Zhongwen was transferred, Ouyang Wu took over as Commissioner from August 1944 until July 1947.

The site was demolished during the people's commune period and now houses the Xinmin Village Health Station.
